LevSurf

LevSurf™ are 3D formable films for IMD/FIM processing. They are hard coated but remain formable to allow shaping into 3D objects. The hard coating is fully cured which prevents damage during processing and therefore increases production yield.

The materials are of high optical quality with the intention of integrating high resolution freeform displays, where our film serves as cover glass to offer best visibility of the display content in e.g. automotive applications.

No UV curing required

Conventional semi-cured IMD/FIM films require UV irradiation after forming to fully harden the surface.
LevSurf™ is utilizing a fully cured hard coating, which eliminates the need for curing after printing and forming. There are various benefits, including the reduction of process steps and increasing yield.

Formability and durability combined

LevSurf™ combines stretchability with its superior hardness and scratch resistance, capable of handling 3D shapes in addition to having the durability offered by hard coatings.

Freeform displays

LevSurf™ is suitable for seamless designs of automobile interiors such as CID (Center Information Display) and in-vehicle cockpits

Advanced HMI designs

LevSurf™ is the ideal surface material for advanced operation panels of e.g. home appliances, medical or industrial equipment using "secret until lit" elements.

Product Features

Excellent form- and stretching properties
This product is processed at temperatures between 160-170°C with great formability in high pressure and vacuum forming.

The surface hardness is suitable for automotive interior materials and offers excellent scratch resistance.

Low reflectivity
It reduces reflections and glare for better readability of displays.

The chemical resistance conforms with the demanding requirements of automotive surfaces.
